Every year on December 14, we celebrate National Energy Conservation Day to emphasize the importance of saving energy and highlight our nation’s accomplishments in being more energy-efficient.
The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), which operates under the Ministry of Power, organizes the day.
Today, on December 14, 2023, in New Delhi, the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, handed out awards for National Energy Conservation and prizes for the National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation as part of the National Energy Conservation Day celebrations.
