Today, the Union Minister for Jal Shakti, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, led the 37th Annual General Meeting of NWDA Society and the 21st Meeting of the Special Committee for Interlinking of Rivers (SCILR) at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi.
During the meeting, the Minister also unveiled the 8th India Water Week – 2024, a major international event, and launched its website. The 8th India Water Week is scheduled to take place from September 17 to 21, 2024, in New Delhi, focusing on the theme of “Partnerships and Cooperation for Inclusive Water Development and Management.”
NWDA stands for the National Water Development Agency. It is an organization in India that operates under the Ministry of Jal Shakti (Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation).
