Patitz began her career as a model in the 1980s, and quickly became one of the most successful models of the era, known for her striking looks and distinctive, waif-like figure.
She appeared on numerous magazine covers and in advertisements for top fashion brands, and was considered a leading figure in the “supermodel” phenomenon of the 1980s and 1990s.
In addition to her modeling career, Patitz has also acted in a number of films and television shows.
