  • NASA prepares to launch Artemis 1 a historic moon mission 
  • Fifty years after the last moon landing,  the world’s most powerful rocket NASA’s Space Launch System(SLS)  rocket carrying the Orion spacecraft at Kennedy Space Center in Florida for moon exploration. 
  • NASA is targeting a launch on August 29, 2022
  • The space Launch System (SLS) is 322 feet long.
  • NASA aims to take a giant leap forward in its renewed lunar ambitions through its next-generation mega-rocket Space Launch System(SLS)
  • Artemis I will be an uncrewed flight test to send Orion spacecraft around the Moon and back to Earth over a six-week mission(42 Days) to check out systems before the crew flies aboard Artemis II.
  • After six-week Orion back to earth with 25000 MILES PER HOUR Generating a temperature of more than 5000 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Through Artemis missions, NASA will land the first woman to the moon
  • This will brings a new chapter in space exploration.
  • NASA’s Artemis program, named for the goddess who was Apollo’s twin sister in Greek mythology,
