- गेल इंडिया लिमिटेड जगदीशपुर-हल्दिया- बोकारो-धमरा गैस पाइपलाइन परियोजना में पड़ने वाले जंगल झाड़ी भूमि का वन अधिकार अधिनियम के तहत अधिग्रहण किया जाएगा.
- राज्य में 551 किलोमीटर लंबी होगी गैस पाइपलाइन
- जगदीशपुर हल्दिया मार्ग से बोकारो–धमरा तक बिछाई जाने वाली यह मुख्य पाइपलाइन चतरा, हजारीबाग, बोकारो और रामगढ़ होते हुए रांची पहुंचेगी। यह पाइपलाइन 551 किलोमीटर की होगी, जो 12 जिलों के 362 गांव से गुजरेगी।
- The JHBDPL project, also popularly known as the Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga (PMUG) project, was inaugurated in July 2015.
- The pipeline system will pass through five Indian states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal.
JHBDPL Phase-I
- Phase-I of the JHBDPL project encompasses a 753km pipeline segment from Phulpur near Allahabad in UP to Dhobi in Bihar.
JHBDPL Phase-II
- Phase-II – the pipeline will be extended to West Bengal and Odisha and connect via en-route spur lines to Barauni, Bokaro, Ranchi, Sindri, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul, Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, Paradip, Jamshedpur, Durgapur, Kolkata and Haldia.
- JHBDPL Phase-II – The 1,836km pipeline will run for 762km in Odisha, 524km in Jharkhand and 550km in West Bengal.
- In December 2018, the foundation stone for the Bokaro- Angul section of the pipeline was laid.
- Total length of the section will be 667km, of which 367km will be in Odisha and the remaining 300km in Jharkhand.
- The pipeline will cover five districts in Odisha and six districts in Jharkhand.
