Josh Okogie Short Biography :
Joshua Aloiye Okogie is a professional basketball player who was born on September 1, 1998. He is Nigerian-American and currently plays for the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA. Okogie played college basketball at Georgia Tech and was picked 20th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2018 NBA Draft. He played with the Timberwolves for four seasons before joining the Phoenix Suns in 2022. Additionally, he represents the Nigeria national basketball team.
Okogie is a basketball player who represents Nigeria in international competitions and took part in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Josh Okogie is the son of Pius Okogie and Anthonia Okogie. His parents, Pius and Anthonia Okogie, won a U.S. State Department lottery for green cards to move from Nigeria to the U.S. when Josh was young. Okogie moved to the United States with his family when he was three years old. They settled in Snellville, Georgia, where he began playing basketball at Shiloh High School. after that He went to Georgia Tech, where he majored in business administration.
