American professional wrestler Jay Briscoe was born on 25 January 1984 in Salisbury, Maryland, U.S. His Real name was Jamin Pugh , but Famous by his ring name Jay Briscoe. Briscoe died in an automobile accident in Laurel, Delaware, on January 17, 2023.

Jay Briscoe is an American professional wrestler, best known for his work in Ring of Honor (ROH). He is a two-time ROH World Champion, and is one-half of the tag team The Briscoe Brothers, along with his brother Mark Briscoe.

He is also a one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion with Mark Briscoe.

Jay Briscoe began his wrestling career in 2000, and quickly gained a reputation as one of the top wrestlers on the independent circuit. 

He signed with ROH in 2002, and has been a mainstay with the company ever since. He has also competed in other promotions such as New Japan Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and House of Hardcore. He is considered one of the top wrestlers in the world and a veteran of the industry.

Jay and his brother Mark were inducted into the ROH Hall of Fame in March 2022.

In addition to his in-ring achievements, Jay Briscoe has also been a trainer for wrestlers at the ROH Dojo. 

He is also the owner of Briscoe Brothers Merchandise, which sells merchandise related to Jay and Mark Briscoe.
