Giannis Antetokounmpo had an outstanding performance, scoring a record-breaking 64 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 140-126 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

Antetokounmpo surpassed the team’s previous record of 57 points set by Michael Redd in 2006. This remarkable achievement came despite a 113-111 loss to the Utah Jazz in 2006 when Redd set the record. Before this game, Antetokounmpo’s highest score was 55 points in a win against Washington in January 2023, and he had scored 54 points against Indiana on November 9.

During the game, Antetokounmpo made 20 of 28 field goals, successfully converted 24 of 32 free throws, and grabbed 14 rebounds.

After the game, Antetokounmpo expressed his joy, stating, “It’s a great feeling, being able to do it. As much as I can, I try to play basketball for the right reason. I try to play basketball to win, try to play basketball to help my teammates be great, but at the end of the day, being able to break this record in front of the fans here in this stadium, it’s a great feeling, too.”
