George Kittle is an American football player who plays as a tight end for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Iowa and was selected by the 49ers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Kittle has become one of the best tight ends in the NFL and has been named to the Pro Bowl (an annual all-star game for NFL players) in each of the last three seasons. He is known for his strong blocking skills and his ability to make tough catches in traffic. In 2018, he set the single-season record for most receiving yards by a tight end, with 1,377 yards.
