- Conjunctions वे शब्द हैं जिनका उपयोग एक ही वाक्य में शब्दों को जोड़ने के लिए किया जाता है।

1. Coordinating Conjunctions
These conjunctions join elements of equal grammatical rank in a sentence, such as two independent clauses, words, or phrases.
- Examples: and, but, or, nor, for, so, yet (often remembered by the acronym FANBOYS).
Examples in sentences:
- “She likes tea, and he prefers coffee.”
- “I wanted to go to the park, but it started raining.”
2. Subordinating Conjunctions
These conjunctions join an independent clause with a dependent (or subordinate) clause. Subordinating conjunctions indicate a relationship of time, cause, contrast, or condition between the two clauses.
- Examples: because, although, since, unless, while, after, before, if, as, when, even though, though.
3. Correlative Conjunctions
Correlative conjunctions work in pairs to join equal grammatical items (words, phrases, or clauses). They always appear together.
- Examples: both…and, either…or, neither…nor, not only…but also, whether…or.
